ESCAPE Lucid. I became lucid. I couldn't believe my mind. I escaped... We were at a beach house. The beginning of the dream was a bit fuzzy. I was with my partner and our families at some beach cottage. There was a big party down the road where a friend was living. It was a big house in a forest, away from the cottages. We were all heading there and my belongings were there; my clothes and my black cat Phylis. There was also a friend with me that I couldn't identify - they were this black shadow that followed me around. The vividness occurred when I was leaving the party. The friend was driving me and my partner was supposed to leave with us but the friend rushed me out. I was demanding we turn back to get my partner but they refused. My shadow companion and Phylis were in the vehicle as well. They would not turn back - and this is when it got lucid - I was aware that I was dreaming - my shadow friend was telling me something about 'truth'. I can't recall exactly what, but a rage built up inside of me and I shouted, "IF YOU DON'T TURN BACK AND GET MY PARTNER, YOU KNOW THAT I HAVE SHIT TO SPREAD!!!". Referring to things the friend driving has done that I want to expose to their partner. They then put thus cynical look on their face; pure evil. The friend sped up and turned left toward the ocean. They were driving down a warf towards a gate, not slowing down then they suddenly slammed the breaks and said, "Don't worry...". The car crashed through the gate and in that moment the friend said, "We are going!" with a look of fear on their face but also intention - maybe slight regret, but they knew what they were doing. I was fully aware and still lucid. I flung the car door open as the car was falling into the ocean and before we were submerged I escaped. I jumped out. I woke up that instant with the vision of the scene from a birds eye view. Jumping out of the car as it hit the water and waking up upon impact and the splash. Also realizing that my cat and companion did not escape... |
