At the core of my practice is a commitment to line. I use drawing as a way to distill form, emotion, and identity down to their most essential elements. Working with graphite, ink, and digital tools, I create figures and objects that hover between presence and absence—where meaning is carried not through embellishment, but through the weight, tension, and rhythm of each mark.
My line work is deliberately minimal, subverting the impulse to overwork or over-render. Instead, I lean into restraint—exploring how subtle shifts in line weight or negative space can evoke psychological depth and emotional nuance. This reduction is not about emptiness but about clarity, allowing viewers to engage with the raw structure of thought, gesture, and feeling.
Influenced by post-human theories, dreams, and the visual language of manga, my drawings often feature ethereal figures suspended in symbolic or fragmented landscapes. These spaces serve as metaphors for fluid identity and the porous boundary between natural, digital, and internal worlds.
Through this approach, I aim to create work that is both quiet and confrontational—inviting reflection on what is truly necessary to communicate complexity
